What a dental implant actually costs in Jacksonville
Implant pricing in Jacksonville mostly lives behind a curtain: a billboard number that covers one part in three, a 'complimentary consultation' that costs you an afternoon before anyone says a figure, a financing pitch waiting at the end. We pulled the curtain before opening the doors. An implant at Restoro is three published lines — $1,950 to place the implant, $650 for the custom abutment, $1,450 for the ceramic crown — $4,050 for one complete tooth, or $3,240 with any membership. These are the real numbers from our founding fee schedule, live on this site before we open in September 2026.
The reason implant quotes confuse people is that an implant genuinely is three purchases: a titanium root, a connector, and the visible tooth. Any price that doesn't name all three isn't a price — it's bait. The handful of things that can move your personal total — a planning scan, a bone graft, an extraction, a temporary tooth — form a short published list, not a shrug, and each has its own line on the same schedule. Your written total is signed before treatment starts, never reconstructed from a bill afterward.
The founding fee schedule — real numbers
| Procedure | Fee | With membership |
|---|---|---|
| Implant placement | $1950 | $1560 |
| Custom abutment | $650 | $520 |

What moves the price up or down
- The three parts of the tooth
- Placement ($1,950), custom abutment ($650), and ceramic crown ($1,450) add up to the $4,050 finished tooth. Ads quoting dramatically less are almost always pricing the titanium post alone — the other two-thirds of the tooth surfaces on a later invoice.
- Bone at the implant site
- The implant needs enough jawbone to anchor in. If the 3D scan shows thin bone — common when a tooth has been missing for years — a graft adds $450 ($360 member). It's decided from the scan at planning and shown in writing before you agree to anything.
- Whether the failing tooth is still in place
- A tooth that hasn't come out yet comes out first: $195 for a simple extraction, $325 surgical. Its own line, quoted with the rest — and a $450 graft placed in the fresh socket often saves a bigger graft later.
- The 3D planning scan
- Every implant case starts with a cone-beam scan — $250 ($199 member). It maps bone height and nerve position, and it's the reason our quotes hold still: the plan is built on measurements, not estimates. One scan covers the whole case.
- A temporary tooth while you heal
- Bone fuses to the implant for three to four months. If the gap shows when you smile, an interim 'flipper' partial holds the spot for $650 ($520 member). For most back teeth you can simply skip this line entirely.
- Membership
- Any Restoro membership takes roughly 20% off every implant line, dropping the complete tooth from $4,050 to $3,240. Plans run $39/month — or $29/month locked for life for the Founding 500 — and cover the cleanings, exams and X-rays alongside.
The membership math
Take a typical single-tooth case including the planning scan: $250 scan + $1,950 placement + $650 abutment + $1,450 crown = $4,300 at standard founding fees. With membership the same four lines run $199 + $1,560 + $520 + $1,160 = $3,439 — $861 less. A Founding 500 membership costs $348 a year ($29 × 12), so the implant alone puts you $513 ahead in year one, and the membership still covers the exams, X-rays and cleanings that guard the implant through its healing months.
Questions, answered plainly
Why do some Jacksonville ads offer implants for $1,999 or less?
Because they're pricing the post, not the tooth. A titanium implant with no abutment and no crown chews nothing — yet that's what most teaser rates cover, with the remaining components quoted after you're invested. Our $4,050 is the complete tooth in writing. If a competitor's lower number also covers all three parts on paper, that's a genuine price — ask to see it itemized.
Will dental insurance pay for an implant?
Usually less than people hope. Many plans classify implants as elective and cover a percentage of some stages at best — and typical annual maximums of $1,000–$1,500 run out before one $1,450 crown is paid for. We open fee-for-service with a membership option; bring your plan's summary to the planning visit and we'll put its real contribution next to the $3,240 member price, on paper.
Is the full implant price due in one payment?
No — and not because of a loan. The three stages happen months apart while bone fuses to the implant, and each is billed when it's performed: placement first, then the abutment and crown after healing. The treatment's own biology spreads the cost across three to five months, with no financing application and no interest.
What's the realistic worst case if my mouth is complicated?
Stack every add-on and you can see the ceiling: surgical extraction $325, bone graft $450, planning scan $250, temporary tooth $650 on top of the $4,050 tooth — $5,725 all-in, or $4,579 at member pricing. Most cases need only some of those lines, and you'll know exactly which ones, in writing, before anything is scheduled.
Is a bridge or a denture the cheaper way to fill the gap?
Cheaper at the register, different in the fine print. A bridge means crowning the two neighboring teeth — grinding down healthy enamel — at $1,250 per ceramic crown. A complete denture is $1,650 per arch but comes out at night and solves a different problem than a single missing tooth. At planning you'll see your options priced side by side from the same schedule; the arithmetic is yours to judge.

We open September 2026 in the Ponte Vedra–Nocatee corridor. Founding members lock $29/month for life — cleanings, exams, X-rays, and a whitening touch-up with every visit.
